My apologies to faithful listeners of Beauty & the Beat (however few & far you all are): I have decided to discontinue this show on account of the many duties in store for me this last term at Queen's as an undergraduate, and the limited time I have available as a student. I wish that I could continue to share my love of the contemplative, lush, beautiful, atmospheric songs & female voices that drove most of B&B - but there are higher priorities.

As of late, I have been serving as a volunteer journalist and host of Alternative Frequency, an alternative news source at CFRC, and it has been challenging, but rewarding. I urge you to keep your dials locked into 101.9FM or streaming live at www.cfrc.ca on Mondays & Wednesdays from 5:00 to 5:30pm to hear great alternative community news reporting.
